Tory Burch is more of a mid-luxury brand based in the United States. The brand was formed in 2004, and in 2005, Oprah Winfrey stated that it was one of “the next big thing in fashion,” which resulted in the Tory Burch website having eight million hits the next day! What do we need to do to have Oprah give a shoutout to BEING BOUJEE? Oprah, have your people contact our people.
Why Tory Burch sandals? I will be the first to admit that I was influenced by those who surround me in my daily life or those I follow on social media to purchase the sandals. I bought a pair that looked much more comfortable to me than the more “traditional” Tory Burch Miller sandals I see being advertised.
We have also watched many TikTok videos that refer to Tory Burch sandals as cheugy – which, according to Urban Dictionary, means “The opposite of trendy. Stylish in middle school and high school but no longer in style. Used when someone still follows these out-of-date trends. This may include but not be limited to fashion, habits on social media, usage of slang, etc.”
I don’t know – what do you think – are Tory Burch sandals cheugy?
Are the sandals comfortable? YES! Definitely comfortable – at least the Miller Cloud version of the sandals are comfortable. I have heard mixed reviews of the more traditional Miller sandals, which don’t have as much cushion as the Cloud sandals. The Cloud sandals have a specific arch, while the traditional Miller sandals are just flat with no additional arch support.
Are they worth the money? Cheugy or not, I think they are worth it, and at the price of $198 for either the traditional Miller sandals or the Miller Cloud sandals, they also make an excellent gift for a close friend or family member. PLUS, Nordstrom has 18 colors in the traditional Miller sandals and 9 in the Miller Cloud sandals.
How to order: I wear these sandals often when I travel because they are so comfortable and go with almost anything you wear, which makes packing so much easier!
