BOUJEE Airport Lounges

Our BOUJEENESS has definitely grown over the years and we have definitely become huge fans of an airport lounge – instead of waiting at the gate or at a nearby bar. What isn’t there to love about an airport lounge? FREE food. FREE adult beverages. CLEAN bathrooms. QUIET. Did we mention FREE food and drinks? Ok. Ok. FREE is a loose term as we pay for two of the memberships we use the most often – Delta Club and United Club – as part of their upper level credit card options. In addition, through the Chase Sapphire Reserve credit card, we get the Priority Pass Lounge access included with the card.

Needless to say, we will be your lounge experts so follow along with us as we visit as many lounges as possible!

PRIORITY PASS - Terminal

Location: Landside - Enter the airport through the main door, turn right and walk to the end of the hallway.

It's a decent little lounge with two floors. Upstairs was warmer than the main floor. There is a SMALL menu to order from and a few snacks - nothing great. It is kind of loud as it is located land side and there isn't a main wall separating the lines to the airline counters from the lounge itself.

No private restrooms in the lounge. You have to exit the lounge and go down the hallway to the public restrooms.

You can pre-book The Lounge through the Priority Pass app.

There is a small children's play area inside the lounge.

United Club

Concourse B WEST

This Club has been recently remodeled and it is BEAUTIFUL! There are two floors with ample seating, bars, and decent food options.

TIP: The buffet is on the top floor, so go there for the best food options.

The remodel of the club was well worth the wait. It's decor is modern with lots of seating and charging options. It definitely doesn't feel like it is an airline club, more like a restaurant bar area.

United Club - Terminal 1

This club leaves A LOT to be desired. Other than the adult beverages, it really isn't worth a visit.

One hot food option (usually a soup) and everything else is cold. There is one gentleman that tends to work the bar area often and is responsible for refilling the food, but he is usually too busy talking to actually work.

I only access this lounge because I have the annual United Club access pass. If at all possible, I try to fly Delta out of Minneapolis as their lounge is wonderful!

Priority Pass - Terminal 1

Proceed to the north end of the Airport Mall (towards Concourses D/E). Take the elevator or stairs located between Concourses D and E up to the Upper Level.

Yes, you can GOLF with your Priority Pass! Each cardholder and any registered guests receive $15 per person off their food OR golf experience.

The golf experience is definitely unique and highly recommend for something unique to do while you wait to board.

PRIORITY PASS - Terminal B

Location:  Airside - After security checks, passport control and the food court area. The lounge is located on the 3rd floor next to Gate 24.

This has been our FAVORITE lounge thus far.... why?? THE OUTDOOR POOL!

How crazy is that right? There are bathrooms and showers available near the pool. When we were there, we didn't see anyone actually swimming in it, but we dipped our feet into it and it felt amazing!

The food selection here is kind of minimum. Lots of salads and small sandwiches to pick from. Nothing substantial. The adult beverages were amazing! When in the Caribbean, we are big Rum Punch drinkers and for some reason they made the BEST Rum Punch in the lounge.  I mean check out how it looked! The fruit on the top made it so delish! I would go back just for that drink - and the pool, of course!

Adults are limited to two complimentary alcoholic beverages - subsequent drinks are subject to payment.

Maximum 2 hour stay. Children under the age of 2 are admitted free.

Hours: 9:00 - 18:00 daily

UNITED CLUB

Location: Terminal 2 West - Mezzanine Level above Sunset Cove, between gates 47 and 48

This lounge is pretty basic but more spacious than it looks. What makes this place great is that you can enjoy time out on the "balcony" overlooking the airport but there are glass walls and doors to separate the space from the main lounge so the noise isn't disruptive.

There really isn't food here - just light snacks but at leas there is hot food served here. Today, they had shredded beef tacos, soup, and cheese tortellini as hot food options. There is a small salad bar, desserts, and individually wrapped mini-candy bars for you to enjoy.

TIP: We usually take a coffee cup and transfer our adult beverage into it in order to leave the Club area with a beverage. We also take a coffee cup and fill it with snacks for the flight. Hey, we can be BOUJEE and frugal, right?!?
