Woof! Woof! Rudy here, and I want to talk with you about a very embarrassing topic – pet clothing! My human mom LOVES to dress me up in pet clothes. She started doing this to me when I was a puppy, and I didn’t know any better. Then I started going to doggy daycare, and I asked my friends there, and that is when I found out it was not expected and everyone was not being forced to dress up. GEEZ MOM! How embarrassing…but I know it brings her a lot of joy and laughter (as well as my Grandma Rita), so I play along with it the best I can. Mom is usually pretty good about getting one good picture of me sporting the silly clothes, and then she takes it off of me quickly.
Some of my favorite wardrobe pieces I wear in the wintertime. I am a little guy, so my mom wants to ensure I am always warm. She forgets that I am a dog and have a coat of hair, but let’s not remind her of that as I love the BOUJEE lifestyle she provides.
I love this one-piece buffalo plaid flannel shirt and khaki pants with suspenders. Mom thought it was so cute that we did a twinning photo together one day. I found the outfit to be incredibly comfortable. However, the pants did make my butt look big. I grew quicker than my mom anticipated, so I didn’t fit into this outfit for long before she donated it to a local pet shelter for their enjoyment. I give my mom credit for her creativity; for only $ 15, it was worth these adorable pictures!
On the Rudy rating scale, I give this outfit four paws (because that is the max I can give). It is easy to put on and comfortable to wear, and if your human family has a buffalo plaid photoshoot coming up, you would fit right in wearing this outfit. Don’t worry, your secret of being dressed in pet clothes is safe with me.
Another one of my favorite outfits was the Adidog tracksuit. Mom bought it on Amazon, but unfortunately, she can’t find it there anymore. You could do an online search and find a store still selling them. It was sold in a variety of different colors. I felt so dope in it. It was a one-piece, making it easier to keep it on. It was cozy and so comfortable to wear. In one of my pictures, you can even see for yourself as I have a massive smile on my face…. that or I just farted.
On the Rudy rating scale, I give this outfit four paws. It is easy to put on and comfortable to wear, and you are immediately ready for your next hip outing. Again, I grew out of this outfit so quickly that mom only got these few pictures of me – but don’t I look adorable in it?
Like any other human, I love sporting a puffy vest – but not too puffy, as I am a little guy. My mom loves the red/black buffalo plaid look, so as you can see, she buys that pattern often.
While this is not the exact one I have in the picture, it is pretty close. Knowing Mom, she has probably already ordered this one and is waiting for its arrival from ‘Zon. I think vests are in style for humans and pets, so I highly recommend this vest. It is comfortable without being too bulky, plus it keeps me warm!
Again, I would give this vest four paws way up in the air. Mom loves it because it is easy to put on, and I love it as it isn’t as ridiculous looking as some of the other stuff she has made me wear…. wait – the nasty stuff is still coming up.
Rudy is the BEING BOUJEE mascot and lives his best life in Colorado with his human-mom, LeAnn. He is full of attitude and BOUJEE-ness but has a huge heart for all people and other four-legged friends. #everyonelovesRudy
