I have been raised by a human mom who is all about a good accessory. Not only does it have to be a stylish accessory, but it has to go with our theme or activity. For example, check out the picture above of me wearing a blue baseball hat. We went to see a Rocky Mountain Vibes baseball game in Colorado Springs. Side note: Did you know their mascot is a S’more? Yep. I am not joking.
Anyway, the Vibes hosted dog day each Sunday at the park, and dogs were welcomed to join their humans in the grass area on the left field. Mom thought it would be so much fun to go to a game together, which meant I needed the proper attire to attend. Hence, the baseball hat and baseball-themed bow tie. I was the most accessorized and BOUJEE dog at the game.
Bow ties and ties are a simple and easy way to add a little style to a little guy like myself. I have bow ties in various themes, such as summer, patriotic, Christmas, etc. Mom has found the bow ties attached to my regular, everyday collar the easiest for us. You might think a bow tie may bother my neck, but it doesn’t. Mom was so lazy one day that I slept overnight with my bow tie. The next morning, I immediately looked dapper.
In addition to bow ties, I am a massive fan of Doggles. Mom bought me a pair for our trip to Mexico, so I started wearing them when I was just five months old. They took a little getting used to, but now they aren’t so bad. I will wear them for about 15 minutes, and then I am done with them, but I think it is just the right amount of time to be seen by those around us.
Doggles are made to protect the eyes of pets. However, my mom uses them as a fashion accessory for me. The Doggles have a strap that goes around my head and one that goes under my chin to help hold them in place. They do a great job staying in place until I paw at them.
If you can’t tell by the smile on my face in many of the photos, I am a massive fan of these accessories! I give them four paws! To my fury friends, I encourage you to tell your humans you want to up your style game with these accessories! Join the movement – BE BOUJEE! You deserve it!
